The Leicester Car Centre story
From a young age cars have always been a passion of the owner and so he started a German car business working from home. It quickly became a viable business which was selling about 15 German cars a month; this continued for about one years. The main focus of the business was to always provide a fantastic customer journey, build a trusted relationship with the customer and in turn build a great reputation which would keep customers coming back.
This led to the company branching out into everyday vehicles, which resulted in discovering that ex-lease vehicles were a great investment. The benefits that the ex-lease vehicles had for our customers were the following:
- Most of the cars only had one owner.
- They have service history.
- The cars were maintained regardless of cost as safety is the only driving factor.
- They were predominantly used for motorway driving so there was not a lot of wear and tear to the gear box, clutch and other mechanical parts.
The business was now selling about 30 vehicles per month from the owners front garden; this was maintained by providing excellent customer service, building a great customer rapport which continued from selling cars. Leicester Car Centre then moved to the Thurmaston site, sales quickly grew to 50 cars per month and from there the business has just gone from strength to strength.
These expansions where decided on to meet the demands of customers in the East midlands area and it gave Leicester Car Centre more opportunity to sell cars and deliver on their promise of giving the best customer experience possible each and every time.
